Tracy Brice Obituary

BriceNov. 6, 1958 - Sept. 1, 2011 MUSE Tracy Jean Moore Brice was called home to her Lord and Savior on September 1, 2011 at the age of 52. Tracy was born on November 6, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Much of her childhood was spent in Moore, Oklahoma with her beloved grandmother, Evelyn Wiginton, where she was surrounded by horses, wildlife and nature, all of which would become lifelong passions. She graduated from Moore High School in 1977. Tracy devoted her life to the service of others, bringing joy, love and a sense of belonging to every person and creature she encountered. She spent many years participating in the Girl Scouts of America, even spending the summer of 1975 traveling Europe with her local council. Tracy enlisted in the Oklahoma Air National Guard in 1980, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant and proudly serving her country for 8 years before being honorably discharged. In the years following her military service, she held several jobs, including working in security at The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, where she met Tony, the love of her life. Tony and Tracy were married April 26, 2001. She spent the next 10 years enjoying her roles as both homemaker, and momma to their beloved pets. Her family and friends will cherish the memory of her beautiful smile, quick laugh, her loyalty to those she loved, her faith and devotion to the Lord, and especially the endless giving of herself to others. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Evelyn Wiginton. Tracy is survived by her loving husband, Tony R. Brice; step-children, Sarah & David Averill, Jacob & Jesika Brice; 1 grandchild; parents, Donald D. & Sandra Moore, Louise & Phil Tolleson; siblings, Donald D. Jr. & Beverly Moore, Kelli & Sean Winn, Jim & Lisa Tolleson; 4 nieces & nephews and friends too numerous to mention. Services will be held at 2PM Friday, September 9, 2011, at Regency Park Baptist Church in Moore, Oklahoma.

I am so happy you got to enjoy your paradise on earth. A cabin home with your husband, the space to breath, and your animals had lots of room to play.
My long time friend, partner in crime, shoulder to cry on and laugh 'til we cried friend. I miss you.

Tracy and I were best friends from 7th grade through graduation, even though we went different directions after high school. Somehow, we were always in trouble, but I wouldn't trade a minute of it for anything. I'm so happy for her now, being able to be again with her Grandmother, whom she adored. Tracy was the reason I came to the 30th class reunion. We both agreed to come if the other did. I loved her unconditionally. God rest your soul and congratulations on your promotion, Tracy! Love to you and prayers for your family! Gayelynne Shreck Shannon Class of 77.

although my uncle larry and her did not last long and i had moved. the time i spend with tracy was fun. we both love cats. we had a dream to open a place for christians to hang out and a daycare beside it. we wore the same type and color of bathingsuit to white water when i went as a teen, which was funny. she loved animals that much i remember most. she told me a story about a cat on a ledge she rescued. i wish i had reconnected with her. even with divorce. she was still family.
