Carol Keim Obituary
Carol Blanton Keim, age 88, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Oct. 2, 2025. Carol was born on Jan. 27, 1937, to Ergo Elliott and Nanie Blanton during the height of the 1937 Flood. She was a graduate of DuPont Manual High School, Class of 1954, and attended Western Kentucky State College.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Ernest Keim and her parents.
Left to cherish the memory of Carol are her children, John (Sonya) Keim of Jeffersonville, Ind., Michael Keim of Louisville and Jean Keim of La Grange; grandchildren, Alex, Olivia and Elliot Keim; and great-grandchild, Evelyn Keim; her sisters, Doris Hawley (Mike) of Fayetteville, N.C. and Janet Adamson (Jerry) of Louisville; nephews and nieces, Jeffrey and Phillip (Kelly) Wyatt, Chris (Loretta) Crady and Suzannah (Tim) Kiper; great-nieces and great-nephews; and many dear friends.
Carol was a devoted Christian and a member of Grace Baptist Church in La Grange, Ky.
Special thanks to Carol's caregiver Pat Powell, as well as many caring friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025, at 3 p.m. at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, in La Grange. A private burial will take place in Mt. Holly Cemetery in Fairdale, Ky. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Cedar Lake Lodge, 3301 Jericho Rd, LaGrange, KY 40031.
