Mallory Kolb Obituary

Mallory Lynn Kolb
Mallory Lynn Kolb passed away at her home, Sept. 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Mallory is survived by her parents, Mary (Schultz) and James Kolb; her sisters, Emily and Jessie (Morgan) Kolb; and two nieces, Autumn and Lucy.
Mallory enjoyed a leisurely life of creating art, gardening, music, movies, books and time with friends and family. She adored her dogs, cats and horses. Mallory spent time traveling with her friends and family; they frequently assisted her in pushing the limits of accessibility in America. Never taking no for an answer, Mallory went where she wanted and her adventures nearly landed her in a bear pit in Virginia and the bottom of Lake Cumberland. Mallory, of course, was laughing all the way.
Throughout her life, Mallory was a shining example of perseverance. She developed deep and lasting relationships with multiple caregivers, who became family. Mallory was a force, and those who were privileged to know her, are forever changed for the better. Those who were close to her will forever feel the void of her loss.
Please join us for a celebration of Mallory's life on Sunday, Oct. 12 anytime between 1-4 p.m. at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens in the Gheens Barn.
In lieu of flowers, please instead donate to your local library, animal shelter or The American Cancer Society.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
