Amanda Thompson Obituary
BUFFALO - Amanda R. Thompson, of South Ogden Street, was taken too soon on Thursday (July 17, 2025).
Amanda was born April 11, 1981, in Buffalo, and was the daughter of Robert Ruhland and Muril A. Thompson.
Amanda attended Cuba-Rushford School and she attended JCC in Olean.
Amanda moved to Buffalo around 2016. She worked for the past eight years at ABC Aamega. Amanda loved to be around her family.
Amanda is survived by four children, Ayana R. Metcalf, Kyrell N. Thompson, Ahliena N. Latimore and Ameera L. Hawkins; one granddaughter, Addilyn E. Metcalf; her mother, Muril A. Hadden; her father, Robert (Sharon) Ruhland; eight siblings, Anthony Rudolph, Amee Lin Rudolph, John Wilber, Robert Ruhland Jr., Teri Ruhland-Reed, Amanda Ruhland-Gernatt, Joshua Ruhland and Ariell Ruhland; and several nieces and nephews.
Amanda was predeceased by many family members, including maternal grandparents, Ethel and Raymond Thompson; a brother, Sean M. Thompson; and paternal grandmother, Nancyanne Heary.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday (July 22, 2025) at the Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home, 7 N. Main St., Franklinville, at which time a memorial service will be held.
