Bernadine Anderson Obituary
ALLEGANY --- Bernadine E. Anderson, of Allegany, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 30, 2024 at home.
Bernadine was born in Olean on May 12, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna M. Ruby Gergel.
Bernadine was a graduate of Olean High School, class of 1961. She worked for Dresser-Rand for 31 years, retiring in 2002. She was a lifetime member of St. John's Church, very proud of her catholic faith.
Bernadine is survived by her daughters, Colleen (Stephen) Davis of Allegany and Kristen (Steven) Morpus of Delaware; her seven grandchildren; siblings, Thomas (Pauline) Gergel, Patricia Milchuck, Cynthia (Duane) Karl, Marc (Winifred) Gergel, and Cheryl (Barry) King; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Anna; her sisters, Gloria, Constance and Gail Gergel.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 10 am, at St. John's Catholic Church, 931 N. Union St. Olean. Burial to follow at St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Guenther Funeral Home, inc. 1303 E. State, Olean.
