David Zielinski Obituary

ELDRED, Pa. - David M. Zielinski, 60, of Eldred, formerly of Shinglehouse, died at UPMC Cole on Sunday (Oct. 19, 2025) following a long illness.  

He was born Jan. 14, 1965, in Orlando, Fla.

With a creative mind and an exceptional gift for mechanics, David found fulfillment in working on cars and lawnmowers throughout his life.

He also enjoyed camping, watching NASCAR races and listening to classic rock music. David had a gift for making friends wherever he went, and his humor and quick wit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.  

Surviving are his parents, Marilyn and Richard Bennett; three children, Desiree Zielinski, Hope (Jake) DeGarie and Zackary Zielinski; four siblings, Paul (Karla) Zielinski, Scott Zielinski, Rick Bennett and Jill Bennett; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  

Memorials may be made to the Eldred World War II Museum in Eldred.  

Arrangements are under the direction of Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Switzer Chapel, 77 Willow St., Port Allegany.
