OLEAN - James F. Hart, 89, of Irving Street, passed away Monday (Nov. 24, 2025) in the loving care and presence of his family.
A visitation and funeral service are being scheduled and will be announced with a full obituary in the Saturday edition of the Olean Times Herald.

Jimmy was a great guy and will be missed. Knew him for 60 plus years and always enjoyed being around him.

I remember Jim sitting behind me in 4th grade at Eastview School in the 1940's. He's the only on I remember, I guess because he was such a nice "kid."

So sorry to hear of Jimmy´s passing. I´ve known him for many years. Back in the day he would take cover charge at Olean bars that had bands performing. He was a great friend to have on your side. I would like to offer my condolences to his family at this time of sadness.

Jimmy was a true friend. We knew each other for 73 years. I visited Jimmy at Absolut weekly since he went there. He will be missed.
