Judith Rhodes Obituary
Born April 22, 1943, in Olean, she was the daughter of the late George and Betty Rudolph Scott. She was married on June 3, 1961, to Mr. Gary Rhodes, who predeceased her on Sept. 26, 2009.
She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, nature and loved animals, especially her dogs. She was an avid NASCAR fan and loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Mrs. Rhodes had been employed as a housekeeper at the Jefferson Inn in Ellicottville. She had previously been employed for over 20 years at the Edelweiss Lodge in Ellicottville.
Surviving are a daughter, Kyle Rhodes of Ellicottville; a son, Darren Rhodes of Great Valley; a granddaughter, Lauren (Lucky) McKay of Little Valley; a grandson, Dillan Rhodes of Allegany; three sisters, Louise "Weasy" (Michael) Reinhardt of Little Valley, Betty "Shorty" Yehl of Great Valley, Klareen "Cindy" Donahey of Knapps Creek; a brother, Richard (Mickey) Rhodes of Eden; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Roberta Torrey.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca.
