Rita Lowry Obituary

Rita Ann Lowry (née Wilson)

SCOTTSDALE, AZ --- Rita Ann Lowry (née Wilson) died in the comfort of her Scottsdale, Arizona, home on Friday, November 19, 2021. She was born August 9, 1937 in Lyndon, New York. In 1956, she married Stephen Lowry, Jr. (d. 2009), and the couple had two daughters shortly thereafter. Rita and Steve moved their young family from Franklinville, NY, to Chandler, AZ, in 1970, like so many other Americans who migrated to the Sunbelt in that decade. Rita was a talented and devoted worker, mother, and wife, with too many accomplishments to her name to list. She retired from Intel in 1996. Among her favorite things were the many dogs she had over the years, living life with Steve, traveling, and visiting with friends and family.

Mrs. Lowry is predeceased by her parents; brother, Neal Wilson; and husband of fifty-three years. She is survived by her daughters, Charlene Gallob (Randy) and Linda Sweet (Tom); brother, Dale Wilson; grandsons, Samuel (Adina) and Benjamin (Jessika) Kelley; great grandchildren, Shannon, Benjamin, and Lydia; and many nieces and nephews besides.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
