Robert T. Faulds Jr.

PEN ARGYL, Pa. - Robert T. Faulds Jr., age 68, died peacefully Thursday (Nov. 28, 2024) in Buffalo, N.Y., surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Robert was born at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem in 1956 to parents Doris and Robert Faulds Sr.

Robert attended Pen Argyl Area High School before studying music at Moravian University in Bethlehem. He later went on to achieve his MBA from St. Bonaventure University in Allegany, N.Y.

Robert worked at Ingersoll-Rand in Phillipsburg, N.J., before moving to Allegany in 1987, where he became the materials manager at Dresser-Rand. He retired from Dresser-Rand in 2016.

Robert was known for his infectious laugh and passion for music. He was the organist, choir director and bell choir director at Schoeneck Moravian Church in Nazareth. After relocating to Allegany with his family, he became the organist and bell choir director at Olean First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Faulds; mother, Doris Faulds; son, Zachary Faulds; daughter, Hilary Mason; daughter-in-law, Katlin Faulds; son-in-law, Anthony Mason; and grandchildren, Austin Mason, Liam Mason, Max Faulds and Josie Faulds.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Faulds Sr.

A viewing is scheduled beginning at 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 3, 2024) at Ruggiero Funeral Home, 126 E. Pennsylvania Ave. Pen Argyl. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 4, 2024) at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1422 Church Road, Pen Argyl. A luncheon will be held at St. Peter's immediately following the funeral service. Burial will be in Plainfield Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date yet to be determined at Olean First Baptist Church.
