Samantha Ensell-Rote Obituary
OLEAN - Samantha L. Rote, of 128 S. 10th St., passed away Monday, June 16, 2025, at Buffalo General Hospital.
Samantha was born Jan. 3, 1991, in Olean, and was the daughter of Mary Lynne Ensell.
Samantha first and foremost was happiest in life being CodyLins mother and Robert's wife. She had a great love for her mother, Grandma and Grandpoo Ensell, who made sure she felt love unconditionally while she was here.
Samantha did a selfless act in 2019 for another so she would have a wonderful life. She had a big heart and if you were her friend, it was to the end. Samantha would open the door for someone in need even if she had just met them.
Her love for animals was unconditional, any animal she saw she would help and love. Samantha's spirit for life was incredible, she showed her feeling through her beautiful blue eyes.
Samantha is survived by her husband, Robert Rote of Hinsdale; her daughter, CodyLin Taylor Rote of Hinsdale; her mother, MaryLynn Ensell of Olean; a sister, Daisy Lee Layton of Olean; and her maternal grandmother, Patricia Ensell. Samantha also leaves behind her aunt, Audrey (John) Hale; Aunt Candy; her uncles, Scott (Jane) Ensell of New Jersey, Dan Ensell of Olean and Alan (Diane) Ensell; and cousins, April, Moe, Zack, Katie, CeCe, Maggie, Kaitlyn and Matthew.
Samantha has followed her favorite cousin, Cody Safford and Grandpoo to heaven, as well as her mother and father-in-law, Sharon and Jerry Rote.
Services will be held at a later date and time in the future. Samantha is to be buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean.
