Scott Osgood Obituary
CUBA - Scott H. Osgood, 64, of Cuba, passed away Wednesday (Dec. 9, 2021) at Olean General Hospital, after a brief illness.
Born Oct. 19, 1957, in Olean, he was a son of Charles Ted and Phyllis M. Davis Osgood. On Sept. 15, 2001, in Houghton, he married the former Patti Smith, who survives.
Scott started school in Belfast and later transferred to Fillmore Central School, from which he graduated.
After high school his career started with Cuba Cheese Co. when it was located in the basement of the Cuba Cheese Shoppe, and was still currently employed by Great Lakes Cheese as a warehouse lead.
Scott was an avid bowler and bowled in leagues in Wellsville, Belmont and Olean. He enjoyed golfing and watching all kinds of sports on TV, with some of his favorite teams being the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Pittsburgh Pirates and Florida Gators.
In addition to his wife, Patti, he is survived by a brother, Kevin (Cindy) Osgood of Chittenango; an uncle, Dean (Bonnie) Davis of Bolivar; numerous cousins; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; and a sister, Sheryl Osgood on Dec. 24, 1992.
Friends may gather from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 11, 2021) and again from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 12, 2021) at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull St., Cuba, at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Dr. Wesley Oden will officiate.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

My condolences to Patti and the rest of Scott's family. I got to see Scott almost daily either picking up or dropping a cheese load and he was always kind. RIP good sir, until our paths cross again.

Scott will surely be missed. I was delivering twice a week,and was always a pleasure to go there .Even after retirement i would stop in and say "hi". Our prayers are with the family at this time
