Thomas McRae Obituary

Thomas Martin McRae

HIGH POINT, N.C. - On Tuesday (Aug. 3, 2021) Thomas Martin McRae, loving son and brother, passed away at the age of 29.

Thomas was born on July 28, 1992, in Olean, N.Y., to Patrick and Stacey McRae.

He graduated from Portville Central High School in 2010, then attended Saint Bonaventure University, where he studied business administration from 2010-2014.

During his life here on earth, Thomas never missed an opportunity to ensure that anyone who crossed his path felt noticed and was treated with the utmost kindness and respect. Aside from his social clout and being an avid animal lover, he was most passionate about cooking.

Although no longer physically with us, Thomas' charismatic smile and energetic personality is one that truly will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by his family, his limitless number of friends and all who met him.

Along with his mother, Stacey McRae, Thomas is survived by a brother, Shawn McRae; fiancé, Krystal Mack; a sister, Tricia Whitman; a niece, Millie Whitman; two grandmothers, Carol Hull and Bonnie McRae; aunts and uncles, John Hull, Brian (Beth) Hull, Cindy Hull, Dennis McRae, Tim McRae, Pam (Matt) Gerringer, Marcy Setchel and Victoria (Jack) Blair; 12 immediate cousins, Leah Hull, Kristi Hull, Nicole Hull, Brandon (Michelle) Hull, Cameron (Alex) Rhea, Kaylee McRae, Nick McRae, Kaitlyn McRae, Nicole (Jason) Clardy, Tara Blair, Shea Blair and Trevor Bloise; and several other cousins located throughout the country.

Thomas was predeceased by his father, Patrick McRae; two grandfathers, Thomas Hull and Martin McRae; a cousin, Zackary McRae; and an aunt, Michelle McRae.
