Papillion, NE. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Winifred Daigneault of Malone, NY; husband Charles J. Marino; and daughter Debra Jane. Survived by children, Geri Marino and partner Bryan Timko of Tampa FL, and Cathy Blake and husband Keith of Papillion; three grandchildren, Nathan, Grace and Monica Blake; one great-grandchild, Behringer Blake; in-laws; and many friends. Ann was born in Chicago, IL, grew up in Malone, NY, and obtained a BS Degree in Education from State University of New York College in Plattsburgh. She served as an Elementary School Teacher for 20+ years in the Ralston Public School System in Ralston, NE and after retiring was a substitute teacher and student teacher supervisor for Peru State College in Peru, NE. Ann was an active and accomplished duplicate bridge player and was a Sapphire Life Master having more than 4,000 life master points with the ACBL while building many lifelong friendships with fellow bridge players at Omaha Bridge Studio.
The family will Receive friends from 6-7pm on Tuesday, November 3, with WAKE SERVICE at 7pm, all at Kahler Dolce Funeral Home, 441 N Washington Street, Papillion. MEMORIAL MASS: 10:30am on Wednesday, November 4, at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 200 E 6th Street, Papillion. Interment with the family at Omaha National Cemetery on November 6th. Memorials may be sent to the St. Columbkille Catholic Church of Papillion, NE.
