Anthony was a volunteer at Douglas County Health Center, leading singing Christian hymns and being a spiritual mentor to many of our residents for many years. A lovely Christian man who I was fortunate to know.

I would like to send my sympathies to the Yates family. I did not get to know Anthony very well, but I do recall meeting him when he brought a cup of water to my late fiancé several years ago during a church service when he was coughing due to a terminal illness. Another time he gave my me a music CD at the Christmas Eve service. He always waved & said hello & was very passionate about his faith in responding with "Amens" during the service. He was clearly a man of faith & kind to everyone whenever I saw him at church. My thoughts & prayers are with your family. God bless.
