Audrey Schuh Obituary
Born on December 16, 1931, in Clinton, Iowa, Audrey was the daughter of Bill and Mary Jessen. She was the third of five girls. She graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and was an emergency room nurse for 20 years. Audrey married J. Lyle Schuh in 1953 and had three children. The family moved to Omaha in 1971 where she lived for 54 years. Audrey resided at New Cassel Retirement Center in Omaha from 2015 to 2025 before moving to The Legacy of Delano in Delano, MN, earlier this year.
She is survived by her three children: Kathleen of La Conner, WA, Craig (Aimee) of Anacortes, WA, David (Andrea) of Maple Grove, MN, and two grandchildren, Michael (Kristina) and Spencer (Emily). She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 44 years, Lyle, and sisters Marilyn, Beth, Kay, and Billie.
Audrey's kindness and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her devotion to Jesus Christ, her family, friends, and church. She loved being in her flower garden and baking cookies – especially Snicker Doodles and donut holes.
Audrey's family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to New Cassel Retirement Center and Immanuel Pathways PACE in Omaha, and to The Legacy of Delano in Minnesota, where she experienced excellent care and compassion.
There will be a Celebration of Life at Grace Point Church, 2351 Rice Creek Road, New Brighton, MN, at 11 a.m. on November 1st, 2025 with visitation starting at 10 a.m.

My sympathy and prayers to Audrey´s family. I knew her from our time together at New Cassel. I always enjoyed visiting with her.She told of writing prayers and poems, she lived her faith with a joyful heart.
