Betty McCart Obituary

Betty McCart, age 90, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025. She was born on December 26, 1934, and lived a long and loving life.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, James McCart, and by her parents, Ray and Vlasta Larsen. She will be remembered for her kindness, her warmth, her wonderful sense of humor, and the joy she brought to others throughout her life.

In her earlier years, Betty was an avid bridge player. She was a proud Benson Bunny graduate, attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and always loved a fun trip to the casino. She also enjoyed cheering on Husker Volleyball and Football and loved nothing more than watching a game whenever she could.

She is survived by her children - twins Kevin McCart and Kellie Fedde and her husband Dan; her cherished grandsons, Dylan Fedde and Grant Fedde; her many beloved grand-puppies; and a large circle of family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Betty spent her later years at Brookestone Meadows, where the staff and residents became like family and provided comfort, friendship, and exceptional care.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

I´m so sorry for your loss. Betty was the absolute best, she could always make you laugh or smile with her silly and snarky comments. I will truly miss her and the hall will not be the same without her. I Loved sitting and talking to her she had an amazing life and a lot of stories. I can imagine she´s up in heaven having a blackberry brandy at the casino with her husband.
