Dear Ellen, Lauren and Sara,
Our whole family was so fond of Bruce. He was the real genuine article and was so well liked as evidenced by all of the entries in this Guest Book.
Ellen you have been so brave and we are so proud of you. However, everyone needs to take time to grieve.
We are always behind you and gladly offer our help, support and prayers. Please count on your family and friends to help you through these very sad and trying times.
We all love you so much.

To Ellen and the entire Stuva family,
My deepest sympathies for your loss. Bruce was a man of many talents, as many have already shared, but his proudest accomplishment was sharing his life with his wife and kids. I ran into Bruce about a year or so ago and he was so proud you could here in his voice. I'll never forget the time he almost burned down the house on 42 and L with a frozen pizza. Good thing the fireman broke down the door or Bruce would have slept through the whole deal.
He will surely be missed but never forgotton.

Ellen, Lauren, Sara, and all Stuva and O'Brien family members,
I can't tell you how sad I've been to learn of Bruce's passing, or how much you've all been on my mind. I pray for you many, many times each day, and my second-grade students at Assumption-Guadalupe School, as well as my family, have also been praying for you a great deal.
May our gracious, Resurrected Lord hold you up and sustain you throughout these difficult days, and those ahead, until you are all reunited with Bruce in His heavenly kingdom. Please know that we will continue to keep you in prayer.
May you be filled with the peace of Christ, which passes all understanding. God bless you!

Our hearts are breaking for you as you try and make some sense of what is such a cruel loss. I am sure that God is holding Bruce is his charge even as we speak. Please know that your friends are here for you - to stand with you - in any way we can - at any time we can ...or just to listen ...in the days to come.

Dearest Stuva family,
Please know that many people are grieving with you at this difficult time. A loss of this magnitude is a test for any family.
I personally know how common phrases right now seem so very wrong. "God never gives you more than you can handle", "time heals all wounds" and all of the others. Right know your main objective should be to trust in the words and promises of our Lord and to simply breath. I am so sorry for you all!
May God truly bless you in the coming days and years of your loving lives.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Stuva Family. I had the good fortune of knowing Bruce while attending Creighton Prep. We shared many good times on the football field and in the classroom. He was the type of guy that we all admired and liked. His laugh was infectious and his smile warmed our hearts.
I can remember knocking down Bruce during football practice one day. While we both lay on the ground, he giggled and admitted he had never been knocked down before. He picked me up and we both had a good laugh. But something told me then that nothing would ever "knock down" Bruce. Even now, his spirit continues to lift us up.
My prayers and thoughts go out to the entire Stuva and Creighton Prep families. Bruce will be surely missed.
