Carole Andrea Power

September 12, 1940 - May 28, 2025

Carole Andrea (Pusch) Power, age 84, passed away peacefully in Bennington, Nebraska on May 28, 2025, with family and friends surrounding her. With a wonderful sense of humor, Carole loved The Lord, people, music, and all animals (except snakes). She was a skilled piano and accordion player.

Carole was born on September 12, 1940, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Henry E. and Elsa (Kearse) Pusch. She married John Keith Power in Houston, Texas on December 1, 1962. Keith and Carole enjoyed 61 years of marriage which included many friendships, world travel and a loving family before Keith passed in February of 2024. Carole was employed by IBM in Houston (where she met Keith) and the family-owned business - Hospe's Music Store in Omaha and surrounding areas.

Carole is survived by her sister-in-law Alice (Forrest) Dolgener, her nieces: Michelle Dyas, Jennifer (Mark) Halupnik, Amy (Luke) Wiest; Nephew Matthew (Katherine) Pusch plus adopted daughter figure, Lesly (Marc) Perry and many grandnephews and grandnieces: Devin, Ava, and Ryan Dyas; Isaac and Ian Pusch; Austin, Grace, and Cole Halupnik; and Oliver, Braven, and Zoen Wiest.

Carole was a member of the Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and spent many hours sharing her faith wherever she went.

Please join family and friends for a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 401 N. 168th Circle, Omaha NE 68118.
