Charlie was a great leader and friend, We spent many hours locked in the RC-135 tube together while in the 38SRS. Folks like Charlie made the Rivet Joint mission happen. Our prayers and sympathies are with your entire family.

I knew Charlie when he was the Ops Officer for the 38 SRS. I was just a snot nosed Lt Navigator but I really liked and felt completely confident in his decision making. Despite our 11 year age difference, I felt close to him and trusted him implicitly. I strove to improve myself because of his influence on me. Whenever I think of the 38th, I think of Charlie and how he good was for the Navs in the squadron.

Charlie was such a ray of sunshine. Every day, when he would come into the RE/MAX office, his fun conversations would brighten up the day. I loved talking sports, especially football with him. I also enjoyed hearing about his childhood. I learned a lot from him about the way football used to be played back in the day when he was playing it. Your life is an inspiration to me. I want to be a better, more happy person because I knew you. I couldn't ask for a kinder or better boss. Rest in peace my friend.
