Age 87. Preceded in death by parents, Alvin and Mavis Fredrick. Survived by wife, Sheryl; children, Dea (Nick), Derron (Heather), Rose (Greg); brother, Jimmy; 6 grandchildren, Julius, Honor, Acer, Teo, Kai and Harper: other family members and friends.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: Tuesday, November 2, 10:30am at Bellevue Christian Center, 1400 Harvell Dr, Bellevue, with dessert, coffee and opportunity to share memories after the service in the church hall. Dea, thanks for letting me know about the passing of your father. My sincere condolences to both you and Derron. I'm sure both of you are hurting very much for your loss of him, but time does heal. Plus you have each other to lean on.
Remember the good times with your mom and dad. I know he loved both of you very, very much as well (he and Kay's...your mother) 6 grandchildren also.
I am glad he got to see the home movies of you Dea, your Mom and Dad with grandma and grandpa Fredrick in Minnesota in the 1960's. Everyone so young then and full of hope. Like back to the future.
Your grand parents loved your mother Kay like a daughter they never had. Dea and Derron, (Kay, your Mom) was so pretty, bright, smart, educated, worldly, and she did have a personality. As in the home movies from the past, your mom and dad are together again, along with my mom and dad, Kays mom and dad, the Iversons (both sets of grandparents), past wonderful dogs, Patsy, Fluffy, and Penny.
I know both you and brother will stay "Real Fredrick Strong" during this loss of both parents, Chuck and Kay within a few weeks.

Chuck epitomized the "active citizenry" role that´s necessary in our constituted democratic Republic form of government.
Many often criticize apathy, non-interest, passiveness and non-participation, but when confronted by someone like Chuck, who engaged with an "active citizen" outlook-questioning, information gathering, accountability and responsiveness, they can be a bit flummoxed.
Rest In Peace, Chuck, and condolences to your family.
