Cletus Roh Obituary
July 8, 1928 - December 13, 2024
Cletus Anthony Roh, 96, passed peacefully on December 13 with his daughters by his side. The esteemed patriarch of the Roh family, he instilled in us the values of faith, family, and a solid work ethic.
Clete was born to Albin and Mary Roh on July 8, 1928 in Bruno, Nebraska. A proud alumnus of Creighton Prep H.S. and Creighton University in Omaha, he married the love of his life, Beverly Penke, before graduation. Clete served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. His assignment to Ent AFB in Colorado led to a lifelong career in IBM management, most of which was in the Washington, DC area.
Clete is survived by daughters Regina Schwartz (Ray); Cecelia Windham (Tom); and Serena Treworgy; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by Beverly, his wife of 68 years, and sister Carol Lee Dorwart.
Visitation will be at Collins Funeral Home in Silver Spring, MD from 2 to 4 p.m. on December 19 with his funeral Mass at the Shrine of St. Jude’s at 12 p.m. on December 20. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to Creighton Preparatory High School in Omaha, Nebraska at creightonprep.org.
