September 10, 2002 - June 19, 2022
Preceded in death by grandpa, John Austin. Survived by parents, Heath and Kelly Shemek; brother, Carter Shemek; grandparents, Franklin and Evelyn Shemek, Marlene and Denny Eckert; many other relatives and friends.
GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS: Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 3-5:00pm at Braman Mortuary (Southwest Chapel), CELEBRATION OF COLE'S LIFE: Monday, June 27, 2022 at 10:30am at Braman Mortuary (Southwest Chapel), INTERMENT: Springfield Cemetery, Springfield, NE. Following the burial, please join the family for a luncheon at the Sarpy County Fairgrounds 4-H Building, 100 Main Street, Springfield, NE 68059. My heart is broken from hearing of the loss of Cole. My deepest sympathy to Heath, Kelly and Carter. I have so many precious memories from when Cole and Carter were so young and always wanting to help old gramma Patty do yard work and check my yard for snakes for me before I´d mow, plus shovel snow. Cole would even shovel the driveway and sidewalk before I even got out. Cole would always refuse money for his work but we would have a stand-off and I wouldn´t leave until he would finally give in. Also enjoyed the snowball fights that we would have even when I have my back turned and I would get a snowball in the back or if I was getting my mail and the boys were coming home from school, not expecting anything and I would send a snowballs across the street. Sending prayers of love and comfort and peace, to Cole´s family and friends. Rest in Heaven, precious Cole.
