Curtis Fox Obituary

Papillion. Curt will be remembered for his love of family, friends and colleagues. He was committed to lifelong learning and a desire to teach, coach and mentor others to be successful. He was an avid Husker fan. Curt's family requests that everyone wear Husker Red to the Visitation in Celebration of his Life. Preceded in death by grandfather Darrell E. Barnes; and aunt Michelle Barnes. Survived by parents, Mark and Carol Fox; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Nicole Fox; baby niece, Adrianna and soon-to-be born baby nephew; grandparents, Joan C. Barnes; Ray and Donna Fox; many loved aunts, uncles and cousins.
VISITATION Sunday, November 11, at Bellevue Memorial Chapel, Bellevue, 1-3pm. MEMORIAL SERVICE will be a Private Family Service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Ted E. Bear Hollow, 7811 Farnam Drive, Omaha, NE 68114. BELLEVUE MEMORIAL CHAPEL

The Fox family-
Sorry to hear about the loss. Been many years since I had seen Curt but heard about the news just the other day from Dave Seeba. Curt was a part of our T-Bird Track and Field Program and I remember him as one of our throwers.
I hope time helps and you WILL find a way to get through this. My wife Candi also had Curt as a student in English and remembers him fondly too.

You are an amazing person, you've touched so many lives. You will be greatly missed. My heart extends to your family, your friends and your sweetheart. The darkest of night is before the breaking light. You are loved by so many, your departure untimely affects so many. You were so great with kids maybe because you were a big kid yourself. Thank you for your inspiration & motivation, the words of wisdom, the reality check. I loved our witty banter, jokes and Chuck Norris competition. I love you my friend and I will miss you so incredibly much. Your passing is an absolute tragedy.

My memories of Curt are of a young boy,who with his cuzn's Chris & Clint, friends Charlie & Mike, were playing in my living room one summer day. I was carrying laundry and heard all the laughing and movement, so curious as to the cause, I peeked in. They were having a grand time with a bunch of baby garter snakes!!!
Curt, you are sorely missed, but may we all take comfort in knowing we will see you again. I take comfort from remembering your sweet smile!

You will be missed very much in this world. The little bit I got to know you and Natalie as our next door neighbors was still a pleasure. To know that you are gone seems way to soon. I did enjoy talking with you in the back and front yard on several occasions about anything from education to drinking. You were a fun loving and nice guy and it is just so sad to see you gone.
