Former teacher at Creighton Prep and Creighton University.
Preceded in death by brothers, Bruce and Glenn. Survived by wife of 42 years, Marsha; sons, Bradley (Marla), Brent (Chrissy); daughter, Megan; grandchildren, Colton, Kensley, Corrigan, Brooklyn, Brody; mother, Lorraine; father, Ronald; brother, Doug (Sue); sister, Jill (Dale) Kelly; sister-in-law, Ellen; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and lifelong friends.
VISITATION: Monday, July 17, 2023, 5 to 7 p.m. followed by VIGIL SERVICE: at 7 p.m. FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday, July 18, 2023, 11 a.m. All services will be held at St. Leo Catholic Church, 1920 N 102nd St. Luncheon to Follow. INTERMENT: Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Creighton Prep. I was so fortunate to have Mr. Stuva as my physics teacher as a CP senior in '85. He was fantastic and somehow (impossible for anyone else) actually got me not just interested in but eventually fascinated by physics. His pitch was "this is interesting" and I bought that pitch hook, line, and sinker because he so amply proved it to be true. That inspiration came in handy on med school applications years later. He was so brilliant, such a great educator, and so highly respected I can't even tell you.
