Caroline and family, Doc was truly a man of God and an ANGEL that walked among us. He had God's healing ways and alot of people are doing great because he let his light shine on earth and did so graciously share his Gift fom God. Thank you for being such a supportive family and a great example to us all. Ruth Dropinski and family

It is still hard for me to realize that I won't see Dr. Hefner the next time I come to the office. My heart goes out to you in your loss. I've been praying for you ever since getting Missy's call. What a shock. I've never known a man so kind and caring. He was truly a man of God who lived his faith. He will be greatly missed. I'll treasure the fond memory of Doc and Caroline singing Happy Birthday to me last year.

Caroline, Missy and family. I know that you have seen Doc help soo many people through the years, but he didn't just help them with the physical body. He was such, a good, kind, and positive soul. He definetly was one of the best men I know. Going into the office for my appointment was some of the most peaceful and happy times I know. Doc and all of you always made everyone feel special and part of the family.
I will really miss all the help I recieved when I came into see ya'll.

Caroline, Missy, and family,
We were so sad to hear of Doc's passing and immediately thought of you, What a wonderful man he was, both professionally and personally. He was also so positive and would do anything for anyone. He was excellent in everything he did. I do not think everyone realizes how many people he helped outside the office.
We are sending you prayers and love,
Janet Gaillard and Quinn.
PS I just can't believe he won't be in the office anymore, with you there handing him juice and fruit between appointments, and Quinn building legos in the front office, with Missy and Jayden in the back.
Call me anytime.

Caroline and family, we are so sad to hear that Dr. Hefner passed away. I felt so sad and will miss him so much. He was always so nice, so cheerful and optimistic. He would always make me feel better when I came in to see him. He helped my mother Violet Anderson and myself so much over the years it's hard to express my gratitude. He would tell funny jokes and share interesting stories. He was a wonderful chiropractor who knew just where my bad spots were somehow. Caroline you and your children and grandchildren take care. I know he loves you all very much and will be watching over you. My daughter, Ashley Anderson and I wanted to let you know our thoughts and prayers are with you. We feel like you're part of the family.

Doc Hefner was the best ... from the very first time I went to see him (more than 10 years ago) to the last (early June) he and Caroline always took time to treat me like I was more than a customer or patient ... like a close friend, almost like part of their family... I'm sure that all of Doc's other "family members" who paid him visits will agree that Doc had incredible skills to help ease our pains while making us feel good inside too. I loved how Doc would call the knot in back or the kink in my neck "a little mischief." I am really going to miss him and his healing hands. He was GOOD people.

TO the Entire Hefner Family,
What an awesome person, husband, dad, grandpa, uncle doctor, servant, etc. he was.....here on earth, but some of us will be seeing him again...Yeah! Dr. Dave is with the Greatest of Physicians...this time as still yet a servant in heaven.
There isn't any possible way to express all that he taught, but as an doctor of healing,WOW wow WOW wow..wow!HE not only repaired our health but showed us how to do it for ourselves..not needing a family doctor as much, kept us with overall well-being, mentally/physically able to attain what the Lord would have for us to do. Loved his humor....our daughter has grown up with Dr. Dave....she truly misses him like the 'Doc' slash man of God he was/is...you don't get that in a lot of medical places..the above and beyond...that's the Hefners'
Godspeed, love, and comfort, to you all

Truly sad news hearing that Doc is gone. I had the privilege of working for Doc and learning a lot from him. My daughter also had the privilege of working for him when she was in high school. My whole family is very saddened by the news, and our thoughts and prayers are with Caroline and the rest of the family.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
