May God's grace and strength be with you during this difficult time. I know that the grief you are going through is overwhelming and at times the pain is more than you can bear. On September 2 of 2005 I lost my son in a vehicle accident. It was 10 days before his 20th birthday. It was only by God's grace and the support and encouragement of my friends at the Plattsmouth Bible Church where I attend that I have been able to get through the days and months since that time. My prayers for you are that you will be surrounded by people that can encourage and support you and that even as you miss your son you will celebrate the life he shared with you. I encourage you to take one day, one moment at a time and lean on those people God surrounds you with. You will be in my prayers.

My greatest sympathy is with you at this time. I am a critical care nurse and was the first medical person with David. He was not alone, I spoke to him the whole time. He truly fought for his life and though I did not know him, I will always remember him in the bottom of my heart. May God be with you.
