Chris, D'nae, Nikki, Jake- We are so very sorry for your loss, actually, the time we have known you has been like an extended family growing, our boys playing together. Paxton commented on Dennis taking them sledding this past winter. Our hearts go out to all of you. I recently recieved this passage and found it comforting, though no words can take away the pain.

If I could write from Heaven, this is what I'd say
Please don't miss me too much, I'm with your throughout your day
You may no see or hear me, but if your quiet and still
You may just feel my presence, because in Heaven there is free will.
Don't worry for the day, it will come and go as planned,
Enjoy each moment you are given, keep worry from your hand.
Keep sorrow to a minimum; For if Heaven you could see,
You'd know I'm safe and Happy, I did not cease to be.
Moments in time are brief, until we'll be together again,
As eternity lasts forever, our lives they have no end.

Love and sympathy to you all, your in our prayers

No words can ease your pain, only time. May your faith provide the strength you need to move forward until time provides comfort, bringing you to a place where you can reminisce joyfully on your lives with Dennis. Then you can move forward reaching the dreams he had for all of you.

Chris, D'nae, Nicole & Jake,
It's just hard to comprehend that Dennis is no longer with us. It was just September when Kath, Matt, Pat and I were back in Omaha. Getting together with you all was a blast as usual. Time at the cabin (washers, with a few adult beverages, and some great comradery), a trip to the casino, a round of golf with Dennis (as my cart mate of course), a casual dinner with the family; those are some of my fondest memories of Dennis. Dennis was just one of those guys that had a big impact on you, in his own quiet way! He was always there to help and was obviously loved by the family.

D'nae, Nicole & Jake,
Your Dad was not only a great father and friend to many; he was great man. He was very proud of you and all of your accomplishments. It's obvious that he had a large impact on each of you. Although he's no longer with us physically, I guarantee you that he's looking down on you and will always be there when you need him. Let the many fond memories of your Dad help guide you through this difficult time. Losing my own father was the greatest tragedy in my life, but I still speak with him often. He always helps guide me during difficult times.

Chris,
Kath and I love you dearly and will always be there to help when you need us. Take care of yourself and may God bless all of you and keep you safe.

Dennis,
We are going to miss you immensely but we also realize that your work will continue in heaven. Please pray for us mere mortals! Thanks for being who you were and thanks for your service to our country! God bless you! Give Uncle Jim a big hug and a kiss for all of us!

All of our love,

Bill, Kathy, Matt and Pat

Chris and Family,
Words can not express how saddened I was to hear of the passing of your husband/father. I know that we often don't understand why things happen to such good people. What I do know from teaching Jake in Kindergarten and now having him help out in my Kindergarten class as a 3rd Grader, is that he is kind and caring and a fantastic son. He has had great role models and for this you and Dennis should be very proud. Your family has been and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

God Bless all of you,
Mrs. Karen Wagner

I am very sad at Denny's passing. While we have not been in touch with each other for sevral years some of my fondest memories of highschool, college and several years beyond are of the countless hours spent with Denny. I know his family will miss him as will all his friends.

Chris and family,
Harvey and I were so shocked to hear of Dennis's passing. I can so clearly remember our days at Data Documents when you two started dating. You both were so fun to be around! It was good times when you played volleyball and darts, and we visited the family out at the Platte River State Park cabin when you stayed there. Dennis will be so terribly missed and our prayers are with you and the kids during this difficult time.

What a sad, sad day for our entire family when we lost Dennis. What a total SHOCK when only hours earlier we were joking around as we painted together. My heart breaks and the sadness is too much to take. Dennis was a wonderful dad, husband, brother-in-law, uncle, friend and neighborhood volunteer. He was always willing to help anyone at anytime. He will be missed by many. Dennis was a great asset to our family and will be missed more than words can ever, ever express.
Our deepest sympathy to Chris, D'nae, Nicole and Jake.
We love you Dennis. I hope you are playing golf in heaven with my dad.
Forever in our thoughts and memory,
Mary Padilla and Family
