Dona R. Dunn, age 92, of Council Bluffs, IA, passed away September 25, 2025, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

Dona was born August 15, 1933, in Council Bluffs, to the late Earl L. and Erma (Baker) Dunn. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1951. Dona was an administrator for General Motors (Chevrolet Division) for many years. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Cathedral in Omaha.

In addition to her parents, Dona was preceded in death by her brother, Lon (Norma) Dunn.

Dona is survived by nieces, Lori (Dave) Collins, Julie (Jeff) Gabelhaus, Lisa (Kevin) Crawley; great-niece, Katie Etchison; great-nephew, Dan Collins; great-nieces, Haley and Hannah Gabelhaus; great-great-nephews, Cayden and Cameron Etchison.

MEMORIAL MASS: Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 11:15 a.m., at St. Cecilia's Cathedral in Omaha. INTERMENT in Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.

With sorrow I say goodbye, When we worked at NW Bell, Engineering Dept. we had some very memorable trips, in your lovely Ford convertible . Cape Cod, NY one year, Las Vegas the next.... When their population was only 30,000. But our big trip was a cruise, to Hawaii the year it became a State.
