Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Marie Elson. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Kayleen L. Elson; step-children, Steven (Lesley) Boulton, Danette (David) Bristow, and Tricia (Tim) Thilges; grandchildren: Amber Welchert, Alexandra Gudenrath, Ava and Charles Thilges; great-grandchildren, Zoey Welchert and Robert Gudenrath; siblings, Donna Elson, Robert Elson and Rose Tadsen; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
VISITATION: Monday, February 20, from 9-10am, with FUNERAL SERVICE to follow at 10am, all at Bethany Funeral Home. BURIAL with Military Honors at 12Noon at the Omaha National Cemetery.
