Donna Mazzie Obituary
July 21, 1930 - March 12, 2024
Donna was born in Malvern, IA, daughter of Emmett (Stem) Newton and Edna Hall. She attended Benson High School and Stephens College and was an announcer at WOW-TV where she met future husband, Jack, a director.
The couple moved to Rockford, IL, to help open WREX-TV and Donna was the station's first film director.
Stops along the way before returning to Omaha included, Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids, MI.
Preceded in death by husband, Jack; and daughter, Marin Mazzie.
Survived by son, Mark Mazzie; and son-in-law, Jason Danieley.
Donna's CELEBRATION OF LIFE, will be announced at a later date.
