LAURA SNAPP

Doris (who I will always picture in Nebraska Football Red attire) probably already knows this, but I am continually blessed to have her daughter in my World. We laugh an awful lot together. That daughter, in turn, has raised four outstandingly clever individuals who light up the Universe...I think she'd really like that...and not be one bit surprised!

Jim & Family. I remember your mother from when I lived in the area. I am so sorry about her passing. Hope you are well. You must know that your mother is a better place and enjoying being around people that she knew.

Dear JimBob and the Ganz family, God must have needed an extraordinarily outstanding soprano for His Heavenly Choir, so he called Doris home. He got what He asked for. God bless you, JimBob, and the rest of the family. You were privileged to be part of Doris' Blessed Ones. With love, Edie Farm, Farmington NM

Dear Jim and all of the Ganz Family,
My heart is full of sadness in learning of Doris' passing. She was a big fan of mine! I recall Doris performing a voice recital in Cozad many moons ago, and how thrilling it was to hear her in concert. My sympathies to each of you in your very difficult loss. She was a very special woman, wife, mother, friend and teacher. I am happy to have known Doris and your family, & to recall all the special memories of our families' get-togethers. I will hold a special place in my heart for Doris. She will be missed. Much love to you all.

Georgia and family, you have our deepest sympathies. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this time of great loss. I always admired your Mom. She had great style and talent and raised a fine family in Gibbon. I remember, my Mom never missed an opportunity to mention her appreciation of your Mom's singing. Doris will be missed and fondly remembered by me and my family.

Dear Ganz Family ~ There are many fond memories of the great lady, Doris Ganz. My parents (Bob & Carlee) enjoyed every birthday dinner with Jim & Doris. So many wonderful times shared between two couples. Thinking of you and your family.

Dearest Ganz family, My deepest sympathies to the family that gave my hometown class. Your mother was at the forefront in elevating the musical arts of Gibbon to a level rarely attained by much larger venues. I recall Mr. Fowler getting most of the credit for the success of "Carousel" at Gibbon High but those of us who knew the talents that had been cultivated in their youth by Mrs. Ganz realize the huge contribution she made to that productions' success indirectly.
Thank you and rest well Mrs. Ganz on behalf of all us Gibbon kids who couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. We were in the presence of amazing talent as an artist, a mother, an educator and just a really nice lady.
Sincerest sympathies to her much loved family.

How lucky I was to know this grand grandmother who inspired not just her own family, but the rest of us, too...and she did it while following the fortunes of The Big Red! Early multitasking! My love to you who loved her so well.

To the Ganz family: Please know that the thoughts and prayers of many old Gibbonites are with each of you at this time. I was always a silent admirer of Doris- a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice.
