Dorothy Elizabeth Haney was born May 20, 1918, and passed away February 26, 2023, in Omaha, NE. She is survived by her son, John Haney; granddaughters, Shelly Woodson and Michelle Myers-Buss; grandsons, Kevin Haney and Steve Haney; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mildred Scheef.
FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Monday, March 6, at 11:00 am, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 7909 Mormon Bridge Rd, Omaha, NE. INTERMENT will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park immediately following services.

Growing up in the same neighborhood in Omaha, I met John when we were kids. Up to 1969 I spent many hours in the Haney household playing board games, etc. I remember his Mom Dorothy as a kind and patient woman. She had to be to put up with all of our nonsense. My deepest sympathies to John and the rest of her family.
