I am so saddened by the news of Lee's passing. He was a wonderful part of his Canadian family. I've thought about him so many times over the years. He's made memories here that will remain with me and, my Son. His first baseball glove, little trinkets sent from Lee with the sports theme ever present. It has left an indelible memory of love and caring that Jody will carry with him for a life time. To Lee's Mom, Dad, and siblings who are now dealing with a raw unspeakable pain, I offer each my sincerest sympathies and when you become able with time to smile at the memories created with Lee please remember the precious memories created here with me and my children. He remains in my heart as he's always been. He was and still remains a family member who I love dearly. Right now I'm feeling profound grief as I try to take it in. Thanks for the memories dearest Lee.
Love Gayle Jody and Alana.

Words can't express the profound loss that death brings to loved ones still here- knowing that you are in heaven will bring much comfort to My Uncle Dan and Aunt Bea. A great man once said "If I am not mourning than why are you? God has called him home and Lee answered the call, we should be rejoicing" That great man is your earthly Father, my Uncle Dan.

I had the good fortune to meet Lee when he was living in Chicago and we became fast friends. Although we had not seen each other for many years, we always kept in touch via the internet, phone and email. We just had an email exchange last week - I am so shocked and saddened by the news of his passing....
My deepest sympathies to his dear mother, father, sisters, extended family and friends. Lee was one of those unique, positive and fun loving individuals who would enter ones life and make it all that much better. It was an honor and a pleasure knowing him, and I am quite certain that Heaven just got a lot brighter.
Rest in peace my friend - I shall miss you. Until we meet again, save a lemon drop martini for me!
