Ema Dvorak Obituary

DVORAK-Ema A., age 93, Ft. Collins, CO, died Wednesday October 10, 2007. She is survived by her sons, Chuck (and Sharon) Dvorak, Bluffton, SC, Rich (and Ellie) Dvorak, Ft. Collins, CO, Ken (and Susan) Dvorak, Seeley, MT; son-in-law, Tony Jordan, Longwood, FL; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lumir Dvorak; her daughter, Marcia Jordan; and her brother, Milo Jejstrick. Ema Mejstrick was born April 16, 1941 in Howells, NE, Colfax, County, to Charles and Mary Mejstrick. She married Charles Dvorak in 1940, in Howells, where they made their home. In 1956, they moved to Omaha. Charles passed away in 1986. Her joy in life was caring for and raising her four children before moving to Ft. Collins for the remaining years of her life. She was a long-time and active member of Holy Name Catholic Church; enjoyed cooking, gardening, hand stitching, quilting, cross stitching, and reading; and only wanted to be a good mother in this life. She was a simple person who didn't like pretentious people.
