Emily D. Laaker, 82, of Bennington, passed away July 23, 2025.
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Clarence "Clancy"; sisters, Mary (Edward) Gall and Alice Wahle; and brother, Henry Kraemer. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Bert and Andrea of Newnan, Ga., and David and Cheryl of Overland Park, Kan., daughter,Amy Laaker of Bennington; grandchildren, Stephanie, William (Natalie), Olivia (Brian), and Anabeth; great granddaughter, Daphne; and brother-in-law, Myron Wahle.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Bennington. Interment at the Hooper Cemetery, Hooper, NE. Visitation Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran, Bennington. Memorials to the church.
