My condolences to all of the family of Dr. Fred Kader. Dr. Fred Kader was such an amazing physician! He was the neurologist for my daughter, Shelby, from when she was a one year old until he retired. He would find the best in all situations and was honest with her prognosis when I needed it. My fondest memory of him was walking into my daughter's hospital room in the middle of the night to find him playing peek and boo with Shelby. He was so excited that she knew where to look for him! Rest in peace Dr. Kader.

Dear Sarah and family, I'm so sorry for your loss.
Dr Kader was one of a kind!! He helped my son Nolan and advocated with such wisdom and kindness when I felt we had nowhere to turn. I hope he knew how much he meant to us parents, not only medical help but support, compassion, guidance, love and respect.

Fred was a wonderful caring physician and colleague. We shared many patients through a multidisciplinary clinic for special needs children and their families. He was a great teacher and he will be greatly missed and long remembered.

My 3 children were under the care of Dr. Kader for many years due to their epilepsy. Upon calling the Mayo Clinic for care, we were told that the best pediatric neurologist in the Midwest was in Omaha. Dr Fred Kader. We never looked back! Thank you Dr K for all your time and help.

I met Dr. Kader while Miss Sarah and I were both at the infusion center at the same time. We talked the entire time and he told me his story of surviving the Holocaust. What a precious couple and a dear, dear man. I was incredibly touched by his open and honest conversation. As a mom to a child with pediatric brain cancer, he offered such reassurance in a very bleak time. We would talk often, whenever our appointments overlapped. I'm terribly sorry for your family's loss. He has left an incredible legacy and historical record to share. Much love and prayers to you all.

I have the fondest memories of Dr. Kader. As a new NNP at Children's ' I remember being struck by how kind, compassionate and gentle he was with not only his patients but the nurses and care providers too. He knew how to make you feel like you were the most important person in the room. He was also so very knowledgeable in all things neurology and he readily passed on that knowledge.
May your memories and your faith carry you through this loss.
