Gary Carl Pignotti, age 79, passed away peacefully at home on December 26, 2024. He was born on June 2, 1945, to Joseph and Viola Pignotti.
In 1970, Gary married the love of his life, Karen (Jaworski) Pignotti, and together they had their only child, Randy Pignotti. Throughout their 54 years of marriage, Gary was deeply committed to his family. His passions included antiques and the family farm, where he enjoyed working with his bulldozer to carve trails for family and friends to enjoy.
Gary served in the Omaha Police Department, joining in 1969 and retiring in 1986 after years of dedicated service.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Pignotti (1964); his mother, Viola Pignotti (2021); and his sister, Cindy (2022). He is survived by his loving wife, Karen; son, Randy Pignotti; daughter-in-law, Kristen Pignotti; and his most cherished granddaughter, Olive.
VISITATION: Monday, January 6, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the West Center Chapel. Private Funeral Service to be held at a later date.
