Teresa, Mandy and Luke. My heart just hurts for you. The pain of losing a child is the worst thing a parent has to endure. Unfortunately I know. I remember Jake, always tagging along behind Jim at Gladiator Park with that big grin on his face. Hold each other tight and lean on others. The pain never goes away, but it does ease with time.

Jake, I will never forget the good times we had when we worked together at Super Foods, You could always bring a smile to anyone's face even if they were in a bad mood, you could even make them laugh when they were trying to be serious. You were a special person who touched everybody's heart in some way. You taught me a lot through the years, as you have for many. You will be missed greatly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

I never got close to Jake other than the occassional class together or the random conversation at the "senior bench" But everytime I had talked to Jake he treated me like his BestFriend. We had known eachother threw middle school and highschool and a couple of semesters at metro. And everytime we would see eachother in the hall I always heard jakes voice saying hi and his great smile following. Jake made you feel important and that you mattered. Always and forever Jake you will be in our hearts

Our heart felt sympathies are extended to your family for the loss of your loved one. Jake was a personable young man that left this world too soon but put his stamp on many hearts. May he have the eternal peace that we all want at the end of our days. Prayers for all.

Jake,

I'll never forget playing music with you. You had a special hora and made everybody laugh and feel really comfortable. I used to think that you looked up to me because I was older, but the feeling is mutual. You were a great listener and a thoughtful person. Knowing you has been a blessing. Thanks for the memories.

Jake and I met got to know each other really well over the course of his freshman year of high school. I can't even begin to describe how much he made me smile. Jake Dice was somebody that I will never forget. He was my first "real-life" boyfriend when we were 13. Since then we remained the best of friends. We lost touch some after high school but it was like we had never been separated when we saw each other again. My sincerest condolences to Teresa and Jake's family. He will be missed by many, including myself.

Through middle school and our first few years of high school Jake and I were inseparable, it didn't matter what we were doing we had a great time. Jake cared about everyone and cared about the little things. He tried to make everyone happy all the time, I'm one of the lucky ones because I was privileged enough to know him as well as I did. Jake you were more than a friend to me you were there through thick and thin, you were like a brother. My prayers are with you family and you won't be forgotten buddy.

Jake has been a special part of my life for the last 20 years. I remember when he came home from the hospital. The Dice family always has been and always will be a 2nd family to me. I have a ton of memories from the summers I lived there and the times I babysat. Jake has always been a great person. My heart breaks for my 2nd family. God bless you and guide you through this time. He will be missed.

We cannot find the words to express our sadness over Jake's death. I remember the many nights Jake and Eric's "band" would practice in the workshop. Jake was even able to get Dylan to play drums for him when Eric wasn't around. Not to mention the sleepovers and the many music writing sessions. We are all deeply saddened and your family is in our prayers. Jake was fine young man and always had a smile and a kind word for all of us. He will be truly missed.

Jake,

I'll never forget the great times we had together. Whether it was hanging out in the batting cage, hitting golf balls into the woods, talking about life during newspaper or just cruising and hanging out. It didn't matter what you did, you always had a smile on your face. You truly had a special outlook on life, one that will stick with me forever. I'll never forget that smile of yours and how great of a person you were to be around. I'm gonna miss you bud, rest in peace.
Love ya!

My thoughts and prayers go out to Teresa and the entire Dice family, may god guide you through this tough time.
