James DuBé Obituary
November 10, 1936 - July 24, 2024
Jim leaves behind his beloved wife, Caroline; and his children, Margaret, Catherine, and Michael as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Jack, Mary Alice, Michael, Dennis, Diane and Don. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Alice.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be Wednesday, July 31st, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. VISITATION with the family begins on Tuesday, July 30th, after 5 p.m., at the Pacific Street Chapel with a WAKE service at 7 p.m. Jim's ashes will be interred separately at Omaha National Cemetery by the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Leo's Catholic Church or to the Nebraska Pain Initiative via the Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association.

Jim was such a wonderful colleague at UNMC/University Hospital (at the time). He taught us so much and not just about medications! Probably the most important thing he taught was how to always listen and be an advocate for your patient. Truly an amazing person.

I am so grateful for the positive support and influence Dr. Dube had on my career. He paved the way for me even after I left UNMC and my current job is a direct result of him challenging me to try something new. Thank you for believing in a new pharmacist who didn´t always believe in herself.
