Age 84 - September 25, 2022

Born on September 29, 1937 to the late Constantine and Ruth (Leutheuser) Peters. Janice was a devoted woman of faith, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gary VanCleve; brother, Delbert Peters; and sister, Marilyn Brown.

Janice is survived by her children, Michael VanCleve (Ann), David VanCleve (Tina), and Kellie Stobbe (Tom); siblings, Elaine Bird, Marjorie Brightwell (Shelby), Lorene Stones, Karen Stiehl (David), and Vivian Schirmer (Tom); 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

MEMORIAL SERVICE is at 10:30am on Friday, October 14th, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church (7706 S. 96th St, LaVista, NE). VISITATION will be held during the hour prior to the Service. Flowers should be delivered directly to the Church. INURNMENT will be in the Omaha National Cemetery at 2pm.

I was blessed to be one of the many who cared for Janice at Hillcrest. She was so sweet and I loved that she was always laughing and smiling. My deepest condolences are with her entire family and friends. It was an honor to know her. Rest in peace, lovely Janice.
