Jennifer Inman Pansing passed away from complications due to ALS on May 20, 2025, at the age of 79.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas R. Pansing, Jr.; her son, Wally Pansing and his husband, Jeffery Conway; and her son, Dan Pansing, his wife, Karen Pansing; and two much-beloved granddaughters, Anna Pansing and Madeline Pansing.

She wrote that, "Nothing pleased her more than becoming a grandmother to Anna and Madeline." She also had a large and cherished extended family.

Jennifer was born in Lincoln, NE, on December 10, 1945, and grew up around the Midwest in Kansas and Iowa with her father, Wallace Dickson Inman; her mother, Aldine White Inman; and her sister, Lynda Inman Youngman, now deceased.

Jennifer moved to Lincoln for junior high school and shortly after began dating her future husband, Tom Pansing. She would be with him for the next 65 years.

She graduated from Lincoln Southeast in 1963 and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and majored in elementary education. She graduated in three years and married Tom soon after. While Tom was in law school, she taught fourth grade at Prescot in Lincoln, a job she loved.

In 1973, after Tom's military service, Tom and Jennifer settled in Omaha. She raised Wally and Dan and did significant service to the community. At various times she was the President of the PTA of every school her children attended, was on the board of Family Services, was chair of the Arthritis Gala, and served on the Debutante Ball Committee, and on the boards of the Junior League, and the Symphony Guild.

She was also on the governing board and the guild board of Planned Parenthood and spoke on many educational panels for Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG). She was an avid golfer, bridge player, dog lover, and reader and enjoyed spending summers in Northern Minnesota on Pelican Lake with extended family and winters in the California desert with dear friends.

A CELEBRATION OF JENNIFER'S LIFE will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 10 a.m., at Countryside Community Church, 13130 Faith Plaza, 132nd and Pacific Street, Omaha, NE 68144.
