JoAnn Knebel, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2022.
Preceded in death by brother, James Donaldson, Jr.; sister, Wilma Taddicken; and great-granddaughter, Emma Jo Olsen. Survived by husband, Donald Knebel; daughters: Kathy Knebel, and Nancy (Kent) Monk; grandchildren: Josh Benson, Abby (Zach) Olsen, and Beth (Shane) May; and great-grandchildren: Tyler Zach, Colin May, Jack May, Ellie Olsen, and Lizzy Olsen.
SERVICE: 11am Thursday, August 18, with VISITATION 1 hour prior at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N. 108th St., Omaha. INTERMENT: Woodbine Cemetery, Woodbine, IA.

I met JoAnn about 4 or 5 years ago at the Omaha Bridge Studio. She was a delightful, positive person and a great bridge partner. My prayers for her family. She will be missed by all who knew her!
