FUNERAL SERVICE 10am Saturday (1-10-09) Messiah Lutheran Church, 1800 South 84th Street. Pastor John Kunze officiating. Memorials to the Church or American Cancer Society, 5733 South 34th, Suite 500, Lincoln, NE (68516). VISITATION 6pm–9pm Friday with family greeting friends from 6-7pm at Roper and Sons, 4300 'O' Street and closed casket visitation one hour prior to service time at the Church. To all of Jodi's family,
It is so difficult to find the right words to express my sincere and deepest sympathy to all of you. Jodi was truly and inspiration to everyone around her. She was so strong, loving, caring, and true to her faith even when her health started to decline. I know she is now in the hands of the Lord and he obviously had a plan for her. Sometimes we don't always understand that plan but she is now pain free and loving every minute of it! I have kept all of you in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to do so. Thinking of all of you during this very difficult time.

Joe and I are very sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, we are in Florida and unable to attend the services.
I hired Jodi at State Farm and she has been so very special to me ever since. We ended up working together and I remember what a beautiful bride she was.
Her strength and profound faith through this journey has been beyond anything I have ever experienced. She always had a positive spiritual note no matter how hard her day was. She was the bravest woman I have ever met. Our prayers and thoughts are with you every day.

Jodi was a classmate of mine at Holdrege Senior High School. She was a very special person and had a great personality. She persevered as a great warrior in her battle against cancer. I can always remember being in Reserve Choir & Varsity Choir with her and she had an amazing musical talent. I offer my sympathy to the family. I met Jodi during her interviews with State Farm. I had the pleasure of working with her during the time she spend as a Fire Underwriter. Jodi was a GREAT employee - but more importantly she was a GREAT person. Jodi always had a very positive attitude and a big smile. My thoughts are with the family that must miss Jodi so much!!!
