I worked with Joel at Gallup. He was extremely talented. He definitely loved his family. I knew him as an honorable person. My greatest sympathies to his family.

I had the pleasure of calling myself Joel's colleague at Gallup. When I had first started at work, I hadn't gotten to know many people yet and found myself sitting alone at an event. Joel noticed this and approached me, and took the time to get to know me and make me feel welcome and less alone. In that conversation, we chatted about Jill and his sons, and I truly hope they know how much he absolutely lit up when speaking about them. He was so proud of his family and the life he had built with them, and it was so heartwarming to see that. In sharing some memories with colleagues the past few days, several of us realized we had very similar stories with Joel--with him going out of his way to be welcoming, kind, and just an overall great guy. Joel was such a genuinely talented and passionate person, and he will be missed greatly by all. My deepest condolences go to his family and friends in this difficult time.

I had a great work relationship with Joel Wilson. He was a very talented, knowledgable and was always there to help and teach many of us at work. He had a gentle demeanour and his work and contributions will live on forever. Many of us will miss his expertise for sure. I would like to offer my condolences to the family and wish they can gain strength and find new hope in the coming days. Moreover as a father of a son , I would like to wish Joel's kids to excel in their academic endeavors as they share the DNA of a talented Omaha techie. Respectfully, Bharat k
