John Breckenridge Obituary
October 12, 1928 - November 8, 2025
John of Omaha, was born in Beloit, Kan. on October 12, 1928. He passed away on November 8, 2025 at Newport House in Omaha, Neb. He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal M. Anderson and great-granddaughter Abigail Hellmer. He is survived by his three children, Paul, Joyce, and Mark and their spouses;10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. John enlisted in the Air Force in 1950 and was honorably discharged in 1954. He retired from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1996 after 25 years with the counseling staff. Memorials to Omaha Tabitha Hospice and Immanuel Newport House.
