John was an extraordinary person, and I'm not saying that just because he's my nephew.
When he entered a room, you could immediately feel his energy and joy! He didn't know a stranger and could talk to anyone, which made him an outstanding salesman at Nebraska Furniture Mart and Sterling Distributors. He always gave his all to his employers and to his friends and family! If someone needed help, John was the first to step forward!
It's been a blessing watching him grow into a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. His first great grandson was born on Nov. 1st ; the same day John passed away. I believe our Lord blessed us with this beautiful boy to help ease the pain of losing our dear John.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, but he will remain in our hearts forever!
In closing, I want to share a verse by Carl Sandburg: "Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent."
With my love and deepest sympathy to Johnnie's family and friends, Aunt Daisy

What more could a friend ask for. What a wonderful person
He reminded me that his mile record still stands over 50 years later! R. I. P. John

I am so sorry for your family's loss. I was a high school classmate of Johnnie's and he was a special friend. He was a very kind person and I keep fond memories of our school days.
