Dr. John Denker was born on May 2, 1933, to Roy and Margaret (Ahrendsen) Denker in Omaha. He passed away on June 29, 2024, in Omaha.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Margaret Denker; brother, R. Stuart Denker; and sister, Kathy Jensen. He is survived by his wife, Loralee Denker; sons, Stuart (Vicki) Denker, Kurt (Diane) Denker, Gregg Denker; daughter, Diane (Dennis) Fiscus; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church – Valley. VISITATION with family will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, at Reichmuth Funeral Home – Elkhorn.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mark's Lutheran Church - Valley or The Methodist Hospital Foundation. The family would like to thank the incredible Trauma Unit Team at Bergan-Mercy for the compassionate and loving care extended to John, Lorrie, and the family. We are forever grateful.

Dr Denker was my doctor since i iwas 5 years old, the thing i loved about him as he would just tell you what was wrong, i so respected him for that, he would come to our house if my Dad couldn't get to the office, he was a great man! Thanks so much Doc!!!! RIP you helped so many!

We remember Dr. Denker from living in Elkhorn. The kids loved him and so did Carol and I. What a great Doctor.
