Dear Ann & family,
My heart and prayers go out to you. Uncle John was such a fun person and so good. Every time my sister Rita told of how he helped her, I was grateful and amazed. Our family is precious.
I am sorry I cannot come to the funeral and share this time with you.
Love, Sister Jodie

John, I thank you for all I learned from you in my youth and beyond, for all the times you put up with our foolishness and for all the times you saw fit to join in with the foolishness. God bless you and your family.

I have been and will continue to pray for Uncle John and you, his family. I always enjoyed his sense of humor, which he seems to have passed on to his children. May he and you find peace now that his battle is over. May you be blessed.

Dear Uncle John, Thank you for all your goodness to our family through the years. Most especially I thank you for your last gift to us all. Your story about wanting to meet St. Joseph on your arrival in heaven due to your special devotion to him is inspiring. One last witness to the importance of the gift of Faith! Thank you.

Our condolences to Anne and the family over your loss. Jack was the most interesting person to have ever met. His knowledge on family history was wonderful. He was dad's favorite cousin. My father told me many times of the visits to Aunt Odelia's and how Jack had a project always in the make that would excite any little boy. My husband and I regret not having the pleasure of intimately knowing him longer than just visiting at someone's funeral. Aunt Odelia raised such outstanding children. I am sure he is with his family in heaven having a good visit.God Bless you all.

John was my great uncle. The most fondest memories i have of him is seeing him chew on a toothpick while talking on his porch. You will be missed, there is a void now that you are gone and no one can take your place. RIP Great Uncle John Gaul.
