John Hahn Obituary
John Carl Hahn, 73, of Lincoln, NE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. Born in Osmond, NE, to Clem and Lois Hahn, John learned the importance of family and the value of hard work on the family farm. John graduated from Nebraska College of Law in 1976 and devoted nearly 50 years to practicing law, faithfully serving his clients and his community.
John was married for 30 years to his high school sweetheart, Cindy Jean Hahn, and became a father to her two young daughters, Abby Wenninghoff and Katie Mack. Together, they also raised a son, John Tyler Hahn. John was a loved and loving "Papa" to his nine grandkids. After Cindy passed, John was lucky enough to find love again with Michele Hedden, who was by his side when he passed.
Throughout his life, John taught his children and grandchild the true value of integrity, humility, fairness, and love. We will miss you, Papa!
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd. in Lincoln, NE, on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11 a.m., with a CELEBRATION OF LIFE to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in John's name.
